Overview

blockbridgemarkets.com presents itself as "Blockbridgemarkets - Ultimate Platform," a polished trading venue built to look like a legitimate crypto markets service. PhishDestroy classifies it as impersonation phishing aimed at people searching for a place to trade or invest digital assets. We first flagged it on 2026-09-16, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

The "Ultimate Platform" tagline is the core of the pitch: a professional-looking dashboard that promises an all-in-one trading experience. Sites of this kind typically ask visitors to register, hand over login details and personal information, and then fund an account. Balances shown on screen can appear to grow, but the deposited crypto is never actually traded or returned. Victims risk losing both their deposits and any credentials they reuse elsewhere. When they try to withdraw, these schemes commonly invent extra "fees" or "verification" payments.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain at the 2026-09-29 check: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, so many browsers and filters may not warn visitors yet. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, which is a separate reputation signal from the antivirus verdicts. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, and the domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-02-22, about seven months before it came to our attention. That gap suggests a name that was held in reserve or ran quietly before its current campaign. The site is hosted in the US on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the operator is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not deposit funds or pay any "withdrawal," "tax" or "unlock" fee the site demands, because further payments only increase the loss. If you created an account, change that password wherever you have reused it and turn on two-factor authentication for your email and exchange accounts. If you already sent crypto, save the transaction IDs and any chat logs, then report them to the exchange you sent from and to local law enforcement. Treat anyone who later contacts you offering to "recover" funds as a likely follow-up scam. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level and add it to mail and web filters.
