bitmart-cex.net is an impersonation phishing page posing as BitMart, the centralized crypto exchange. Its page title is simply "BitMart", and the "-cex" in the domain is meant to look like an official exchange address. It targets BitMart customers and anyone searching for the exchange. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-14. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still registered, but its DNS was inactive and the page was not being served.
How the scam works
Fake exchange pages like this copy the BitMart look and wait for users who arrive from ads, search results or messages. A victim who signs in hands over their email, password and often a live two-factor code, which lets the operators take over the real BitMart account and withdraw its balance. Some versions also show deposit addresses or demand "verification" or "withdrawal" fees, and anything sent to them is lost. Because the page carries the BitMart name and branding, victims often notice nothing until funds are gone.
Evidence
On 2026-10-14, seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Netcraft, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a modest share, but these are independent vendors, and several of them specialize in phishing. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized BitMart branding on it. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-08 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., only six days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site set up quickly for a phishing run. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), which hides the real origin server, so the visible IP 172.67.203.195 is a shared Cloudflare address and not the operator's own machine.
What to do
If you entered BitMart credentials on this site, change your BitMart password from the official app or a bookmarked address right away. Reset two-factor authentication and review active sessions, API keys and withdrawal whitelist addresses for anything you did not add. If you sent a deposit or paid a "fee" through this page, contact BitMart support with transaction details and report it to local authorities, and do not pay any further charges to get money back. Security teams should block bitmart-cex.net and watch for lookalike BitMart domains registered through the same channels.
