PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

b-wealth.cc presented itself as "Bwealth | CFD Trading", a broker offering contracts on stocks, gold, oil and indices. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at retail investors looking for an online trading account. We first flagged it on 2026-10-06. The site went offline on 2026-10-19, when its DNS stopped resolving.

How the scam works

Impersonation broker sites borrow a trading brand and a polished CFD storefront to look like a regulated platform. Victims are asked to open an account, hand over identity details and fund it, often by card, bank transfer or crypto. The dashboard then shows invented gains to encourage larger deposits. Withdrawal requests are stalled with demands for "taxes", "verification" or "release fees", and money sent at that stage is lost along with the original deposit and any personal documents uploaded.

Evidence

Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when checked on 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Netcraft. That is a modest count, but it spans several independent security vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to its generic scam pattern. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist and appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other analysts tracked it independently.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2025-11-19, nearly eleven months before we detected it. That gap suggests it was either kept in reserve or ran quietly before drawing attention. It was hosted at 91.230.49.19 on the SpectraIP B.V. network in the Netherlands and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock icon therefore only meant the connection was encrypted, not that the broker was genuine.

What to do

If you deposited money with b-wealth.cc, do not pay any further fee to unlock a withdrawal, because those payments are part of the scheme. Contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute or recall transfers, and report the loss to your national fraud authority. If you uploaded ID or proof of address, watch for identity misuse and be wary of "recovery agents" who promise to retrieve your funds. If you reused a password on the site, change it elsewhere and turn on two-factor authentication. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and search their logs for past connections to it.
