apphlxyztrade.netlify.app is an impersonation phishing page set up on a free Netlify subdomain. Its name suggests a trading app, which points at crypto and investment users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-14. The site went offline on 2026-09-21 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19. Its page title now reads "Site not found", Netlify's default response for a removed site, while we classified the original content as impersonation.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look of a legitimate trading or wallet service closely enough that a victim believes they are on the real platform. The visitor is asked to sign in, verify an account or connect a wallet. Whatever they enter, such as passwords, one-time codes or recovery phrases, goes straight to the operator. With those details the attacker can take over the account and move funds out, often within minutes. Hosting on a free platform subdomain lets such pages be launched quickly and replaced as soon as they are taken down.
Evidence
13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-22. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, LevelBlue and Lionic. That is a meaningful number of independent security vendors agreeing within about a week of our first sighting, and it matches our own listing on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The page lived on Netlify's hosting platform rather than on a domain the operator registered, so there was no registration cost and no ownership trail to follow. It resolved to Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in Germany, which Netlify uses to serve its sites. The DigiCert certificate comes with Netlify hosting, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the page was trustworthy. The site was online for about a week after we first saw it before it went dark.
What to do
If you signed in on this page, change that password immediately, along with any other account that reuses it, and reset two-factor authentication. Review your trading and exchange accounts for unfamiliar logins, withdrawals or API keys. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a newly created wallet. If you connected a wallet and approved anything, revoke those token approvals. Defenders should block the hostname, watch for similar trade-themed Netlify subdomains, and report new ones to Netlify for takedown.
