Overview

app.lntredes.com is an impersonation phishing page built to pass as a legitimate crypto service and lure its users into acting on a fake copy. The "app." prefix mimics the dashboard subdomain real platforms use for logged-in users. In many fonts the leading lowercase "l" can also read as a capital "I". PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-05. The site has been offline since 2026-09-15, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted platform and wait for visitors who arrive through ads, search results, direct messages or lookalike links. Once the victim believes they are on the real service, the page asks for whatever unlocks their funds. That can be login credentials and 2FA codes, a seed phrase, or a wallet connection followed by a signature request. Anything entered goes straight to the operators, who use it to empty accounts or wallets. The page title showed only the bare domain, so it gave no hint of which brand was being copied.

Evidence

VirusTotal shows 15 of 89 security engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-17. The flagging vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Gridinsoft. Detection by that many independent vendors within two weeks of registration is strong confirmation that the site is malicious. The domain is also listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-09-04, just one day before PhishDestroy detected it. That pattern points to a disposable domain, stood up for a short campaign and dropped once flagged. The site lasted about ten days before going dark on 2026-09-15, which is a typical lifespan for throwaway phishing domains.

What to do

If you entered a password or 2FA code on this site, change that password at once on the genuine service. Reset 2FA, sign out all sessions and check your account for withdrawals or new API keys. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly generated wallet. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-checker. Defenders should block the domain and the wider lntredes.com name, and watch for similar lookalikes registered in quick succession.
