Overview

app-mint.info is an impersonation phishing site whose name is built to pass for a crypto app or token-mint portal, the kind of page wallet users open when chasing a launch or airdrop. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the domain is still online and serving content. The page title shows a Turkish-language escort listing for Ankara districts (Çankaya, Eryaman, Kızılay), while our classification is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages of this type copy the look and wording of a trusted crypto service so visitors act without second-guessing. The victim is typically prompted to connect a wallet and approve a transaction or signature, or to type in a recovery phrase to verify or claim something. A signed approval can let the operator move tokens and NFTs out of the wallet, and a leaked seed phrase hands over the whole wallet. Neither can be reversed once on-chain.

Evidence

Eight of 89 VirusTotal engines classed the domain as malicious on 2026-09-11: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Kaspersky, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That count is modest, but the wallet-side signals are stronger. The domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users can be warned at the moment they connect. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL under the phishing category, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-09-03, only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a throwaway domain set up for a quick campaign. Traffic resolves to 188.114.97.3 on Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. Because that address belongs to Cloudflare's proxy, it masks the server actually hosting the page.

What to do

If you connected a wallet on app-mint.info, review and revoke any token or NFT approvals granted around that time with a reputable approval checker. Move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer funds to a new one created on a clean device right away. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to wallet and email filtering. Reports to Cloudflare and Dynadot help push for takedown while the site remains live.
