PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

agenciaricco.com is a phishing page that impersonates Adobe and targets people with Adobe accounts. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content, so it remains an active risk. The page title reads "Agência Ricco - Agencia Ricco," a Portuguese-language agency name, while the page content was classified as an Adobe impersonation.

How the scam works

Adobe lures usually arrive as a shared document, an invoice or a PDF that the recipient must "sign in" to view. The victim is taken to a page that looks like Adobe's and asked for an email address and password, which go straight to the operators. Those credentials are often email logins as well, because many people use their work or personal mailbox to access Adobe. That gives the attacker a foothold for further fraud, business email compromise or password-reuse attacks on other services.

Evidence

On 2026-10-09, 9 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The named vendors include Sophos, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, DNS8, Gridinsoft, MalwareURL and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated security firms. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and independently recognized Adobe branding on the page, which directly supports the impersonation classification. Infrastructure

The site resolves to 216.172.172.179 on an Oracle Corporation network located in Brazil. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock, which proves nothing about the site's legitimacy.
