addi-colombia.netlify.app is an impersonation phishing page. Its name borrows the identity of Addi, the Colombian buy-now-pay-later service, and targets people in Colombia who use or are curious about Addi credit. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-26. The site has been offline since 2026-09-12 and was still dead at our last check on 2026-10-19, with nothing served at its root.
How the scam works
Pages like this copy a trusted brand's look and wording on a free hosting subdomain, so a link in an ad, SMS or chat message seems legitimate at a glance. The victim is then asked to log in, apply for credit or confirm an account. That step collects phone numbers, national ID details, passwords, one-time codes or card data, and the attacker uses them to take over the real account or commit fraud in the victim's name. Its presence on crypto-focused blocklists suggests the same lure may also have been used to steer visitors toward wallet-related requests.
Evidence
Detection was thin but came from several unrelated sources. On 2026-09-13, VirusTotal showed 3 of 89 engines flagging the site: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, so wallet users relying on those protections were warned. A low engine count is typical for short-lived pages on shared platforms and does not mean the page was safe.
Infrastructure
The page sat on a Netlify subdomain, which anyone can create in minutes without buying a domain. This lets an operator launch, abandon and recreate copies quickly. Traffic resolved to 35.157.26.135 on Amazon's network in Germany, the shared infrastructure behind the platform rather than a server the operator controls. The site stayed live for roughly two and a half weeks after we first saw it.
What to do
If you entered your Addi login, phone number or a verification code here, change your password at once through the official Addi app and contact Addi support to secure the account and review any credit requests. If you shared card details, ask your bank to block the card, and watch for loans or purchases you did not make. Treat any follow-up calls or messages asking for codes as part of the same fraud. If you connected a crypto wallet, revoke any token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the subdomain and watch for similar Addi-themed names on free hosting platforms.
