The site was still online on 2026-10-19, with its content reachable behind a protection layer.
How the scam works
Impersonation storefronts copy a real retailer's name, product photos and branding so the checkout feels trustworthy. Visitors are drawn in by premium Persian and designer rugs, often at attractive prices, and asked to create an account and pay at checkout. The losses are the money spent on orders and the personal details handed over, including name, address, email, phone number and card or payment information. Those details can then be reused for fraud or follow-up phishing.
Evidence
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-12: ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and Sophos. That is a minority of engines, but it spans several independent vendors that agree with our verdict. The domain also appears in 10 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it, which means many browsers and filters may still let it load without a warning.
