PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

yottarock.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name Yottalith. Scanners tag its content as a crypto scam, so its likely audience is people looking to invest, trade or connect a wallet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow the name and look of a project so visitors trust the page enough to act on it. Under the Yottalith branding, this kind of crypto scam usually leads visitors to make a deposit, enter login or recovery details, or connect a wallet and approve what looks like a routine prompt. Whatever is sent or signed goes to the operators. Victims can lose deposited funds, account access, or wallet assets if they give up a seed phrase or sign a malicious approval.

Evidence

Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain at the 2026-09-25 check: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but several of these are mainstream security products, so many users are already protected. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and labeled it a crypto scam. The domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as phishing, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-11-15 through Cloudflare, Inc., ten months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was either held in reserve or ran unnoticed for a long time. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network, with the address resolving to Canada. This hides the real origin server, so takedown requests have to go through the proxy provider.

What to do

Do not deposit anything more, and ignore any request for unlock, verification or withdrawal fees, which only lead to further losses. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase, move your funds to a new wallet right away. If you connected a wallet, revoke any approvals granted while on the site. Defenders should block yottarock.com at DNS and the web proxy, and search logs for users who visited it after 2025-11-15.
