PhishDestroy threat report
xenora-renovate.com is an impersonation phishing page. It borrows the identity of a trusted service so visitors believe they are dealing with the real thing. The name pairs "Xenora" with "renovate," a framing built to suggest an official upgrade or renewal step. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-20. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content.
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a real brand, then insert a step where the victim hands something over. That step is usually a login, a recovery phrase, a wallet connection or a payment. A "renovate" theme fits a familiar crypto lure: users are told their account, wallet or tokens need an upgrade, migration or reactivation, and the "fix" is to enter secrets or sign something on the fake page. Whatever is typed or approved there goes straight to the operators. That can mean losing access to accounts or having funds moved out with no way to reverse it.
On 2026-09-30, 17 of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious. The vendors flagging it include ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. That is broad agreement from security vendors with separate detection pipelines, not a single isolated verdict. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2025-10-28, almost eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap points to a domain held in reserve or run quietly before the campaign surfaced. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the address geolocating to Canada. Because of that proxy layer, the visible IP belongs to the network provider, not to the operators' actual server.
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the genuine service and on any account that shares it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a newly created wallet. If you sent a payment for an "upgrade" or "renewal," stop all further transfers and report it to the service being imitated. Defenders should block the domain at DNS, proxy and mail gateways. They should also hunt logs for visits since 2026-09-20 and report the page to Cloudflare and Dynadot for takedown.
