PhishDestroy threat report
web3exblock.com is an impersonation phishing site. Its name is styled like a Web3 exchange, and it is aimed at crypto users who expect to trade, deposit or connect a wallet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves, but its page content is unreachable. It could serve phishing content again at any time, so treat any link to it as hostile.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a legitimate crypto platform. Visitors believe they are on a real service and hand over what the page asks for. That can be login credentials, a seed phrase, a deposit to an address the operators control, or a wallet connection that leads to a malicious signature or token approval. Whatever is entered or signed goes straight to the scammers, and on-chain transfers cannot be reversed. The page was titled "AI Era", which names no crypto brand, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing.
Ten of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-24. They include BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and Bfore.Ai PreCrime. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL under the phishing category. It also appears on wallet-focused blocklists run by MetaMask and SEAL alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users will see a warning before the page loads. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, which shows other researchers have tracked the same activity.
The domain was registered on 2026-04-17, roughly five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up ahead of time or used quietly before being reported. Registration is through Cloudflare, Inc., and the site sits behind Cloudflare's network, which places it in Canada. This setup hides the real origin server from visitors. The free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser proves nothing about legitimacy.
If you connected a wallet, revoke every token approval granted to unfamiliar contracts with a trusted approval-management tool. Move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you typed a seed phrase or private key, consider that wallet fully compromised and empty it immediately. If you deposited funds, do not pay any "unlock" or "withdrawal" fee you are asked for later, since these are follow-up thefts. Change any password you entered and enable 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and keep wallet-provider blocklists enabled.
