PhishDestroy threat report
wavecapitalpro.com presented itself as "Wave Capital Pro", an investment-style brand, and PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page. Its likely audience is people searching for a crypto trading or capital-management service who trust a professional-sounding name. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-09-28. The site went offline that same day, and its DNS was still inactive when we checked again on 2026-10-19.
Sites like this borrow a credible financial identity, here "Wave Capital Pro", to convince visitors they are dealing with a legitimate platform. Victims are typically asked to open an account, hand over login details or personal information, and fund a balance with crypto. A dashboard may then show growing profits that do not exist. Any attempt to cash out is met with new "fees" or "verification" payments. Whatever is deposited or typed into the page goes straight to the operators.
On 2026-10-01, four of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. That is a low count, typical for a short-lived site that disappears before most scanners catch it. It also comes from four separate vendors that reached the same verdict independently. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-07-10, roughly eleven weeks before it came to our attention. That gap is consistent with a domain prepared in advance and pushed live for a short campaign. It was hosted on a US address, 64.29.17.1. Its certificate came from WR1, an automated domain-validated issuer, so the browser padlock shown to visitors said nothing about who ran the site.
If you sent crypto to an account on Wave Capital Pro, do not pay any further "withdrawal", tax or unlock fee, because those payments are part of the theft. Report the transaction hashes to the exchange or service you sent the funds from, and file a report with local police or your national fraud center. If you reused a password on the site, change it everywhere you use it and turn on app-based 2FA. Watch for follow-up "recovery" offers, which are a common second scam aimed at the same victims. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting address, and search mail and proxy logs for earlier contact with it.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
