How the scam works
Sites like this present themselves as an official or affiliated USDC service, often a fake earning, staking or exchange platform, so that visitors deposit stablecoins, type in account credentials or connect a wallet. Whatever is sent or authorized goes straight to the operators, and stablecoin transfers cannot be reversed. The page itself carried the title "Maison", which does not match the USDC branding in the domain, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Independent detection is thin. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed 2 of 92 engines flagging the domain, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and LevelBlue, so most scanners would have let it through. It appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it, which shows that a clean result elsewhere was no assurance of safety here.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., roughly eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests a domain that was held in reserve or used quietly before it surfaced in a campaign. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which conceals the real origin server behind a shared network.
What to do
If you sent USDC or any other token to this site, stop all further payments. Ignore any later demand for a "fee", "tax" or "verification deposit" to release your balance, because these are follow-up thefts. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke token approvals granted during that session, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. Change any password you entered there and enable two-factor authentication on the matching accounts. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search logs for past visits, and treat look-alike stablecoin domains built from a brand plus numbers as high-risk.
