PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

tyvorentbit.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name "Tyvorent" and targets cryptocurrency users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, just two days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its scam content, so it remains a live risk to anyone who lands on it.

How the scam works

The page uses the Tyvorent name to pass as a legitimate crypto service. urlscan.io tags it as a crypto scam, and wallet-security blocklists have listed it. Sites like this usually try one or more of three things: get visitors to deposit funds into an account they can never withdraw from, collect login credentials, or push them to connect a wallet and sign requests that hand over control of their assets. Whatever arrives on the page, whether coins, passwords or signatures, goes to the operators, and crypto sent this way is very hard to recover.

Evidence

Sixteen of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-07. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which are maintained specifically to protect wallet users, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Several independent sources reached the same conclusion.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-23 through Cloudflare, Inc. and was being used for phishing within 48 hours, the fast turnaround typical of throwaway scam domains. It sits behind Cloudflare's network, with a Canada-based address, which hides the real origin server. Its certificate is a free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not deposit anything, and do not pay any "fee" or "tax" the site demands to release a balance. Those requests are how this kind of scheme takes more money. If you entered a password, change it wherever you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the site's token approvals with a trusted approval-checker and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare as registrar and host.
