tygcb.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as Avatrade, the online forex and CFD broker. Its page title reads "AVAtrade". It targets traders and would-be investors who think they are signing in to or opening an account with the real broker. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-30. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving a redirect.
How the scam works
Fake broker sites like this copy the look of the real brand so that a visitor trusts a login or registration form. Whatever is typed in goes to the operators. That can include email, password, phone number and sometimes identity documents collected under the cover of account verification. These clones often also push victims to fund a "trading account". That money goes straight to the scammers and cannot be withdrawn. The stolen credentials can then be used against the victim's genuine Avatrade account or reused on other services.
Evidence
VirusTotal shows 17 of 91 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-10-02. Those engines include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That is broad agreement among unrelated vendors for a domain barely a week old. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Avatrade branding on it. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, and it appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-24, only six days before we detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains built for a single campaign. The random-looking name has no connection to Avatrade. It was registered through Cloudflare, Inc. and sits behind Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the origin server.
What to do
If you entered your Avatrade login on this site, change that password right away, along with any other account that uses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse and consider alerting your bank. If you sent money to "fund" an account, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the payment, and report it to Avatrade and local police. Do not pay any further "fees" to unlock withdrawals. Defenders should block tygcb.com at DNS and proxy level and check logs for visits. Abuse reports should go to Cloudflare as both registrar and host.
