PhishDestroy threat report
tescofinds.store is a phishing site that impersonates the UK retailer Tesco and targets its shoppers. The domain uses the brand name plus the word "finds" so it reads like an official deals or product-discovery page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-05. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still live, and its content was reachable through a redirect.
The page carries the bare title "Review". This fits the familiar retail-lure pattern where visitors are asked to rate a product or answer a short survey in exchange for a reward, voucher or cheap item. Once the visitor is hooked, schemes of this kind ask for a name, address, phone number and card details, often framed as a small delivery or handling fee. Victims risk card fraud, unwanted recurring charges and the reuse of their personal data in follow-up scams that also pretend to be Tesco.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and its brand detection matched it to Tesco, which independently confirms the impersonation. On VirusTotal, 4 of 91 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Coverage across the industry is still thin, so many browsers and filters may not warn users yet. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-07 through Spaceship, Inc., 59 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance rather than spun up for a single burst. The site resolves to 216.198.79.1 on an Amazon.com, Inc. network in the United States. Its Let's Encrypt certificate is free and issued automatically, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is genuine Tesco.
If you entered card details on this site, contact your bank immediately to block the card and dispute any charges, including small "fee" payments, and watch for subscriptions you did not agree to. If you supplied a Tesco account password, change it, and change it anywhere else you reused it. Treat any later calls, texts or emails claiming to be Tesco about this "review" or "reward" as a likely continuation of the scam. Defenders should block tescofinds.store at the DNS and proxy level, search mail and SMS logs for links to it, and report it to Tesco's brand-protection team so it can pursue takedown.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
