PhishDestroy threat report
sun-swap.net is an impersonation phishing page built around the SunSwap name. It uses a hyphenated lookalike domain and presents itself under the page title "Sun Swap — Protocol Information & Mission". It targets traders and wallet users looking for the genuine decentralized exchange. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07, and the site was still online when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Lookalike DEX sites copy the branding and copy of a real protocol so that a visitor arriving from search results, ads or social posts assumes they are on the official site. From there the victim is steered toward connecting a wallet, signing a transaction or entering a recovery phrase. Each of these gives the operator a way to move tokens out of the wallet. The title presents the site as an informational page about the protocol, while we classify it as impersonation phishing. Anything signed or typed on a fake SunSwap front end should be treated as compromised.
Eighteen of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-07, including BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-phishing group Chong Lua Dao. That is broad agreement across vendors that do not share detection pipelines. ScamSniffer, which specializes in Web3 scams, lists it alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its domain blocklist as DBL_SPAM. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.
The domain was registered on 2026-06-11 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, almost four months before it was detected. Aging a domain like this before use can help it slip past filters that distrust brand-new registrations. It resolves to 81.90.17.197 on the NODE HOST LIMITED network, a GB-registered provider, with the address located in Poland. Its Let's Encrypt certificate means only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
If you connected a wallet to sun-swap.net, review and revoke any token approvals it obtained using a reputable approval-management tool, and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as lost: create a new one and transfer assets immediately. Reach SunSwap only through links published on its verified official channels. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and alert TRON and DeFi users in their organization to the hyphenated lookalike.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
