PhishDestroy threat report
standardreserve.guru is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as "The Standard Reserve: Banks", a reserve-bank style brand used to win the trust of people managing money and crypto. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-27, the same day the domain was registered. The site has been offline since 2026-09-30, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
The page borrows the name and banking framing of The Standard Reserve so that visitors believe they are dealing with an established financial institution. Pages of this kind usually ask the visitor to sign in, verify an account or link a crypto wallet. Anything entered there, including usernames, passwords, one-time codes or wallet signatures, goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose control of their accounts or approve transfers of their own funds.
On 2026-09-29, eight of 91 VirusTotal engines classed the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Google Safe Browsing, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, Lionic and SOCRadar. Google Safe Browsing labels it SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, which is its category for deceptive pages. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain on their blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so crypto-focused defenders treat it as a threat to wallet users. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it.
The domain was registered through Eranet International Limited on 2026-09-27 and was being tracked as phishing within hours. It went dark three days later, which fits a short-lived campaign. The site sat behind Cloudflare at 188.114.96.3, geolocated to Canada, so the origin server stays hidden behind the proxy. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page a padlock, which says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately and also change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins and transactions with your real bank or service. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker. If you suspect anything was signed, move your assets to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain, search their mail and proxy logs for visits since 2026-09-27, and warn users about lookalike Standard Reserve branding on unfamiliar domains.
