PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

solagents.pages.dev presented itself as "Sol Agents — AI Agent Infrastructure on Solana", borrowing Solana's name and pairing it with the AI-agent hype to attract crypto users and builders. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page and first detected it on 2026-09-05. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and the hosting provider has blocked its content. It was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page posed as an AI agent platform built on Solana. It used the brand to look like a legitimate ecosystem project rather than a random site. Lures like this usually push visitors to connect a Solana wallet to launch an agent, claim access or join a waitlist. The victim is then asked to approve a transaction or sign a message that hands over tokens. Some variants ask for a seed phrase or private key during setup. Either way the result is the same: whoever controls the page can move the victim's funds, and confirmed transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Independent detection was thin. When VirusTotal checked the site on 2026-09-17, only Forcepoint ThreatSeeker flagged it, out of 89 engines. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying the domain. The low count likely reflects how quickly the site appeared and vanished, so a clean result from most scanners was not a sign it was safe.

Infrastructure

The project went live on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-09-04, one day before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a throwaway deployment on a free hosting subdomain, built to run briefly and then be replaced. Traffic was served through Cloudflare, Inc. from a Canadian-located address. The site lasted about twelve days before going offline on 2026-09-16.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to Sol Agents, review recent transactions and revoke any token delegations or approvals you did not intend, using your wallet or a trusted Solana revocation tool. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat the wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet and move any remaining assets there immediately. Defenders should block solagents.pages.dev and watch for similar Solana or AI-agent branding on fresh pages.dev projects. Report new copies to Cloudflare so they are taken down quickly.
