PhishDestroy threat report
smart-passport.singular.sh is a live crypto wallet drainer that impersonates Coinbase under the guise of a "Smart Passport" product, targeting Coinbase users and anyone holding crypto assets. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-10-14, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains fully active with live content. It is currently blocked by PhishDestroy, MetaMask, and SEAL, meaning users of those platforms receive active warnings.
The page presents itself as "Coinbase Smart Passport," borrowing Coinbase branding to appear as a legitimate identity or wallet verification service. Visitors are prompted to connect their cryptocurrency wallet, at which point the drainer silently requests broad token-spending approvals or triggers a direct asset transfer. Once the victim authorizes the transaction, the attacker sweeps tokens and coins from the connected wallet without any further interaction required. The victim loses control of their funds instantly and typically has no recourse after signing.
Eight named security vendors flagged this domain on VirusTotal by 2026-10-18, including Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Emsisoft, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, and alphaMountain.ai, producing 11 detections across 92 engines. urlscan.io independently returned a malicious verdict and confirmed Coinbase as the impersonated brand. Inclusion on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, alongside PhishDestroy, reflects independent community and industry consensus that this site is actively harmful.
The domain was registered on 2024-06-30 through NAMECHEAP INC and is hosted on Cloudflare's network in the United States at IP 104.21.29.188. The TLS certificate is issued by Google Trust Services under the WE1 intermediate, providing HTTPS that lends the site a superficial appearance of legitimacy.
If you visited the site but did not connect a wallet or enter credentials, no immediate action is required beyond avoiding any return visit. If you connected a wallet, immediately open a trusted tool such as Revoke.cash or your wallet's built-in approval manager and revoke every approval granted to unfamiliar contracts. If funds were transferred, document the transaction hashes and report them to your exchange and local authorities, as recovery options are extremely limited. Security teams should add smart-passport.singular.sh to DNS and proxy blocklists and alert users who may have reached the domain through phishing links or search results.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
