How the scam works
Lures like this usually reach sellers through messages claiming their seller app is down, their store is suspended, or a payout is on hold. The message pushes them to a page dressed as TikTok Shop to "restore access". The page asks for account login, verification codes or business details. Whatever the seller types goes straight to the operators, who can then hijack the shop, divert payouts or use the account for further fraud.

Detections came from alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, DNS8, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar, a spread of independent vendors rather than a single feed. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to the TikTok Shop brand, which backs up the impersonation classification.
