PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

This is a phishing page impersonating the KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange. It sits on a subdomain of the typedream.app website builder, and the name stacks the words "secure", "webs" and "en" around the brand to pass as an official English-language KuCoin page. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-13. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving a redirect.

How the scam works

Fake exchange pages like this copy KuCoin's sign-in flow. When a victim types in an email, password and two-factor code, those details go to the operators, who can then log in, drain balances, or create API keys and withdrawal addresses before the owner notices. When we checked, the page title read "500: Internal Server Error" while the content redirected elsewhere. That title does not match our classification of the domain as KuCoin impersonation.

Evidence

On 2026-10-17, 21 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Those vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar, DNS8 and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. urlscan.io rated it malicious and identified the KuCoin brand on the page. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List as phishing (DBL_PHISH), so mail and DNS filters that use that list will block it.

Infrastructure

The operators did not need to register a domain. They used a free subdomain on a hosted site builder, which lets them stand up a new lure quickly and drop it once it is reported. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc. at an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. Its Google Trust Services certificate is issued automatically for builder subdomains, so the padlock does not mean the page is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered KuCoin credentials here, open the official KuCoin app or type the address yourself, then change your password at once. Reset two-factor authentication and review active sessions, API keys and whitelisted withdrawal addresses, removing anything you did not create. Also change the password anywhere else you used the same one, and contact KuCoin support if you see unauthorized withdrawals. Defenders should block this subdomain, report it to Typedream for takedown, and watch for similar "secure" or "kucoin" subdomains on site-builder platforms in mail and proxy logs.
