PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

rx34xr34.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Cloudflare. It targets site operators, developers and anyone who trusts a Cloudflare-branded prompt. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. The site has been offline since 2026-09-15, and its hosting provider was still blocking the content when we last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Cloudflare lures usually copy something visitors already trust. That can be the account login screen or the familiar browser check or verification interstitial, used as a gate. The visitor is then asked to sign in or confirm their identity, and whatever they type, including email, password and one-time codes, goes straight to the operator. A stolen Cloudflare account is valuable because it controls DNS, domains and traffic for every site behind it. The current page title, "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", matches the warning page shown after a provider block, not the lure itself, which we classified as impersonation.

Evidence

15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-17. They include Google Safe Browsing, BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. Google Safe Browsing lists it under SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, so Chrome and other browsers that use that feed show a red warning. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict and recognized generic Cloudflare branding on the page. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The page sits on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain created on 2026-07-30, about five weeks before we caught it. Throwaway subdomains like this cost nothing and take minutes to spin up. Hosting a fake Cloudflare page on Cloudflare's own network also lends it a convincing look. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated to Canada, behind a standard Google Trust Services certificate. The padlock therefore proved nothing about who ran the page.

What to do

If you entered credentials here, change your Cloudflare password right away. Re-enroll two-factor authentication with an authenticator app or security key, and revoke active sessions. Check the account for unfamiliar API tokens, new members, altered DNS records, redirects or Workers you did not create, and reuse the same check on any service that shared that password. Defenders should block the domain and watch for Cloudflare-themed prompts on pages.dev hosts in mail and proxy logs. They should also remind staff that genuine Cloudflare sign-ins never arrive on a random subdomain.
