regoldfx.com is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself under the title GOLDFX. The extra "re" in front of the brand name is a typical lookalike trick: the domain reads naturally to anyone expecting a GOLDFX site. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-11. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14 and was still unreachable on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages like this copy the name and look of a known service so visitors trust what they see and do what the page asks. Login details typed into the copy go straight to the operators, who can then take over the real account. Money sent to "deposit" on a cloned platform goes to the scammers and cannot be withdrawn.

On 2026-09-24, 4 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a small share, but those four vendors each reached the same verdict on their own. Infrastructure
The domain was registered with Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-06-07, about three months before we detected it. A gap like that often means a domain was registered in advance and put to use later. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare acts as a front-end proxy, so the server that actually hosted the content stays hidden. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services (WE1), which is issued automatically and shows only that the connection was encrypted, not that the site was genuine.
What to do
If you entered a username or password on regoldfx.com, change it right away on the real GOLDFX service and on any other site where you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication and check the account for logins or changes you did not make. If you sent money or card details expecting to fund a trading account, contact your bank or payment provider immediately and keep every receipt and message. Do not pay any further "fees" anyone demands to release your funds. Defenders should block regoldfx.com and watch for other GOLDFX-style lookalike domains, since the site going offline does not mean the operators have stopped.
