PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

qevorinexbit.com presents itself under the name Qevorinex, the title shown on its page, and is classified by PhishDestroy as an impersonation phishing site aimed at cryptocurrency users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content, so anyone who finds it through ads, social media or direct messages can still reach it.

How the scam works

The page borrows the Qevorinex name to look like a legitimate crypto service. urlscan.io tagged it as a cryptoscam. Sites in this category usually ask visitors to register, deposit funds or connect a wallet. The dashboard then shows balances or profits that cannot actually be withdrawn. Victims lose whatever they send. They are often pressed to pay extra "fees" or "taxes" to unlock withdrawals, and any login details or wallet access they hand over can also be abused.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, VirusTotal showed 15 of 91 security engines flagging the domain. Those vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, so wallet software and security responders from the crypto community have reached the same conclusion independently. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-22 and flagged just one day later. That short gap fits a site built for immediate use in a campaign rather than an established business. Registration runs through Cloudflare, Inc. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which means the visible IP belongs to Cloudflare's edge and not to the operator's own server. The free, automated Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser. That padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not deposit anything on qevorinexbit.com. If you already have, do not pay any withdrawal fee or tax it demands, because that money is lost as well. Gather transaction IDs and screenshots and report them to your exchange and local police. If you created an account, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted to unfamiliar addresses and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you shared a seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare for takedown.
