How the scam works
The page carries the title "PROM" and borrows the project's branding so that visitors believe they are on an official site. Impersonation pages like this usually prompt the visitor to log in, verify an account, claim a reward or connect a wallet. Whatever the victim enters or approves goes to the operators instead of the real service. That can mean stolen account access, exposed recovery details or signed requests that hand over control of funds. A cheap lookalike domain on the .xin extension makes the deception easy to launch and easy to replace.
Evidence
On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, VIPRE and Webroot. That is a modest share, but the vendors are independent of each other and agree on the verdict. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy and ScamSniffer blocklists. ScamSniffer focuses specifically on crypto scams. It also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-07 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., eight days before PhishDestroy flagged it. It resolves to 188.114.97.3 on AS13335 (Cloudflare, Inc.), a US-based network that proxies traffic and hides the origin server. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1). The padlock shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
