PhishDestroy threat report
pinnacletradeservices.top presents itself as "pinnacle trade services," a CFD trading platform offering positions on stocks, gold, oil and indices. It targets retail investors looking for an online broker, and PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page. We first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still responded, but its DNS was no longer serving the page content.
Fake CFD brokers like this one copy the look and language of a legitimate trading firm, with promises of leveraged returns on commodities and indices. Victims register, often hand over identity documents and login details, and are pushed to fund an account by card, bank transfer or crypto. The dashboard then shows invented profits to encourage larger deposits. When the victim tries to withdraw, the operators demand "taxes," "verification" or "withdrawal fees," and the money never comes back. The page title advertises a CFD trading service, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
On 2026-10-10, 13 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai and LevelBlue. That is a modest share, but the vendors are mainstream and unrelated to each other. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to a generic scam template. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-07-27 through Global Domain Group LLC, about ten weeks before we detected it. That gap leaves time to build the fake platform and start recruiting victims through ads or social media. It sits on 163.61.188.2, on a network registered to NEW DHAKA HARDWARE in Bangladesh but geolocated to the US. The cheap .top extension and a free Let's Encrypt certificate are typical of disposable investment-fraud sites.
Do not deposit more money, and ignore any request for fees, taxes or "unlock" payments to release your balance. Report card or bank transfers to your bank immediately and ask about a chargeback or recall. If you sent crypto, record the transaction details for police and exchange reports. Change any password you reused on the site, enable 2FA elsewhere, and watch for identity misuse if you uploaded ID documents. Be wary of "recovery" services that contact you afterward. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, and alert users to fake CFD broker lures.
