PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

oslplus.com is on the PhishDestroy blocklist. It presents itself under the bare page title "OSL" on a domain that adds "plus" to that name, a pattern often used to borrow the identity of an established crypto brand. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-14. The site was still online and serving content as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

PhishDestroy has not yet classified the specific scheme. The evidence points to crypto-related fraud: two of the blocklists carrying it, MetaMask and SEAL, focus on threats to wallet users. A lookalike site titled "OSL" can collect login details, take deposits it never returns, or ask visitors to connect a wallet and sign transactions that hand over their funds. Anyone who enters credentials, sends crypto or approves a wallet request here risks losing money.

Evidence

On 2026-10-18, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but it is a broad spread of established vendors flagging a site only days old. MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy, so a wallet-security vendor and a crypto security community reached the same conclusion independently. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, which means other researchers are tracking it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-13 through Cloudflare, Inc. It was on PhishDestroy's radar the next day. A domain that draws attention within a day of registration fits a site built for a short campaign rather than a legitimate long-running service. It is hosted in Hong Kong on the Light Node Limited network. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser, but that only means the connection is encrypted, not that the operator is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not log in, deposit or connect a wallet on this site. If you entered a password, change it on the real service and on any account that shares it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker. Move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you shared a seed phrase. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for related "osl"-themed registrations.
