PhishDestroy threat report
optinuxprime.online presented itself as "Optinuxprime," a CFD trading platform offering positions on stocks, gold, oil and indices. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for an online broker. We first flagged it on 2026-09-11, the same day the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-12 and was still dead, with DNS inactive, when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake CFD brokers like this one mimic the look of a regulated trading platform. They promise easy profits on commodities and indices to draw visitors into opening an account and making a deposit. The dashboard then shows invented gains, which encourages larger top-ups. When the victim tries to withdraw, new obstacles appear: "taxes," "verification fees" or minimum-balance demands that must be paid first. Victims typically lose every deposit and fee, and sometimes the identity documents and card details collected during sign-up.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to a generic scam template rather than a specific brand. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam. On VirusTotal only 2 of 89 engines, Fortinet and desenmascara.me, flagged it when scanned on 2026-09-11. That low count reflects how quickly the site appeared and vanished, not a clean bill of health. PhishDestroy also carries it on its blocklist.
The domain was registered through Global Domain Group LLC on 2026-09-11 and was detected within hours. It stopped resolving roughly a day later. That short life matches the disposable domains these operations rotate through. The server at 163.61.188.9 sits on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network, registered in Bangladesh, while the IP geolocates to the US. The same operators may move the identical storefront to a fresh domain.
If you deposited money with Optinuxprime, do not pay any further "withdrawal fee" or tax. Contact your bank or card issuer at once to dispute the transfers, and report the loss to the police. Treat later offers to "recover" your funds as a second scam. If you uploaded ID or card details, monitor your accounts and replace the card. Defenders should block the domain and IP, and watch for lookalike CFD branding on newly registered domains.
