Overview

opensea-market.com is a fraudulent website that impersonates OpenSea, the well-known NFT marketplace, targeting NFT collectors and crypto wallet users who may mistake it for the legitimate platform. The site was registered on 2026-10-01 and first flagged by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-04, meaning it was identified within days of going live. As of 2026-10-19 the site remains active and is serving live content, making it an ongoing threat.

How the scam works

The site presents itself under the page title "OpenSea", mimicking the branding and interface that NFT buyers and sellers already trust. Victims are typically directed here through phishing links, social media posts or Discord messages promising exclusive mints, drops or marketplace deals. Once on the page, users are prompted to connect their crypto wallet and approve a transaction — this approval is the attack itself, granting the scammers permission to transfer NFTs or tokens directly out of the victim's wallet. The result is immediate and often irreversible loss of digital assets.
