PhishDestroy threat report
online-portal-bzst.cfd is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger and targets owners of Ledger hardware wallets. The domain name contains no Ledger branding, and the browser tab shows only the domain itself. The Ledger identity appears on the page, where urlscan.io's scan detected it. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-10-11. As of 2026-10-19 the domain no longer resolves in DNS, so the page is currently unreachable, but the operators could bring it back.
Fake Ledger portals usually claim the user must verify, sync or restore their device, often citing a security alert or firmware problem. The victim is then led to a form that asks for the 24-word recovery phrase, or prompted to connect a wallet and sign transactions. Anyone who types in the phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and the attacker can sweep the funds within minutes. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on any website, so any page that requests one is a scam.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised Ledger branding in its content. On 2026-10-12, VirusTotal showed 5 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, DNS8, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is low, which means most security filters would not have blocked it in its first days. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-10-07 through OwnRegistrar, Inc., just four days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a throwaway domain set up for a brief campaign. The generic "online-portal" name on a cheap .cfd extension lets the same domain be reused for other brands. It was hosted at 138.124.67.118 on the GLOBAL CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS LLP network in the Netherlands.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up your genuine Ledger with a brand-new phrase and move any remaining funds to it right away. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, check and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval-checking tool. Only download Ledger software from the company's official channels, and never type your phrase into any website. Defenders should block the domain and the IP 138.124.67.118 and search DNS and proxy logs for past visits.
The linked repository preserves daily zone observations across seven ShortDot-operated TLDs, including registration volume and abuse-related indicators. This registry context is supporting background and is not an independent detection for the domain in this report.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.
maleah.ns.cloudflare.comLocation describes the IP network.
Saved certificate metadata. Certificate dates without a timezone are shown as stored. Transport encryption does not establish that the site is trustworthy.
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
