PhishDestroy threat report
nxxchange.ajeflex.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as NX Xchange. Its title, "NX Xchange — Buy & Sell Crypto and Gift Cards at the Best Rates", was aimed at people who want to turn gift cards into cash or crypto, or buy and sell coins outside a mainstream exchange. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16, and it went offline the same day. It was still unreachable when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake trading desks of this kind promise better rates than legitimate services to pull in sellers. A victim is asked to send gift card codes or a crypto deposit up front, expecting a payout in return. Once the codes are redeemed or the coins arrive, the payout never comes. Some victims are then pressed for extra "fees" before funds can be released. Any login details, contact information or identity documents typed into the copied interface also end up with the operators.
Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site when it was checked on 2026-09-18: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, Webroot and desenmascara.me. That count is modest, but these are independent vendors from different reputation and threat-intel feeds. Spamhaus separately lists the domain in its DBL under the spam category. PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist as impersonation.
The domain was registered on 2025-07-28 through OwnRegistrar, Inc., more than a year before the phishing page was detected. The scam ran on a subdomain, a common way to give a lookalike brand name its own address while the parent domain stays in the background. Hosting was on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network at 163.61.188.5, geolocated to the US. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means visitors saw a padlock, which says nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
If you sent gift card codes to this site, contact the card issuer right away with the codes and receipts, because unredeemed balances can sometimes be frozen. If you sent crypto, record the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange or wallet provider you sent from. Do not pay any "release" or "withdrawal" fee, and ignore anyone who offers to recover your funds for a charge. Change any password you reused on the site and enable two-factor authentication on that account. Defenders should block the whole ajeflex.com parent domain, not just this subdomain, and watch for NX Xchange branding on other hosts.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
