PhishDestroy threat report
notifications.microsoft-ssl.com hosts a fake Microsoft sign‑in page. The page title reads “Sign in to your account” and it is designed to trick Microsoft account holders into entering credentials. PhishDestroy first recorded the domain on 2026-10-06. As of the last check on 2026-10-19 the site is still live and serving the malicious content.
The attacker displays a login form that looks identical to Microsoft’s official sign‑in experience. Victims who enter their email address and password have those credentials captured in real time and can be used to hijack accounts, reset passwords, or access linked services. Because the page is hosted on a legitimate‑looking TLS certificate, browsers show a secure lock icon, increasing user trust.
Independent scanners flag the domain as malicious. VirusTotal reports 24 detections out of 92 engines, with vendors such as BitDefender, ESET and Criminal IP marking it harmful. Google Safe Browsing lists it for social engineering, and urlscan.io returns a malicious verdict while detecting the Microsoft brand. PhishDestroy and Phishunt also block the site.
The domain was registered on 2024-09-04 through CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. It resolves to IP 52.32.114.43, part of Amazon’s network (AMAZON-02) located in the United States. TLS is provided by Amazon / Amazon RSA 2048 M04, a legitimate certificate authority.
Anyone who entered a Microsoft username or password on this page should immediately change those credentials and enable multi‑factor authentication on their Microsoft account. Review recent account activity for unauthorized sign‑ins and revoke any unknown app permissions. Security teams should block the domain at the DNS or proxy level and add it to internal threat feeds. Monitor for any follow‑up phishing attempts that may reuse the same infrastructure.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
