How the scam works

When we checked, the page title read "mantra88shopee.online is registered at Namecheap", which looks like a registrar placeholder, while we classify the domain as Shopee impersonation.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a minority, but the six are independent vendors that reached the same verdict separately. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have linked it to malicious activity. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
