PhishDestroy threat report
mail-spectrum-net-login.framer.website is a credential phishing page that imitated the Spectrum webmail sign-in, aimed at Spectrum internet customers who use the provider's email service. The hostname packs the words mail, spectrum, net and login into a subdomain on Framer's website builder, so a quick glance suggests an official Spectrum mail portal. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-08. The site has been offline since 2026-08-11, and at the last check on 2026-10-19 the root returned no content.
The page carried the title "Sign into Webmail" and presented a Spectrum-branded login form. Victims usually arrive from an email or text warning about a full mailbox, a pending message or an account problem, then type their email address and password into the fake form. Those credentials go straight to the operators, who can read the inbox, reset passwords for other services tied to that address, and send further phishing from a trusted account.
On 2026-08-21, 18 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the site, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Ermes. That spread across unrelated vendors shows the verdict does not rest on a single source. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Spectrum as the imitated brand, which matches the page title. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.
The page sat on a free subdomain of framer.website. The parent domain was registered through Framer on 2021-11-19, so that date describes the platform rather than this phishing page, which went live much later. Traffic was served from Amazon's AMAZON-02 network, with the address located in the Netherlands. The page stayed up only about three days between first detection and going offline, a typical lifespan for disposable phishing pages built on site-builder platforms.
If you entered your Spectrum email password on this page, change it immediately from Spectrum's official site, and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication where available, then check your mailbox for forwarding rules, unfamiliar recovery addresses or sent messages you did not write. Reset passwords for banking, shopping and other accounts that use this email for recovery. Defenders should block the hostname, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and treat Spectrum-themed webmail lures hosted on site-builder subdomains as suspicious.
Location describes the IP network.
