live-ledgr-faq.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page. How the scam works
Fake wallet FAQ and support pages present themselves as troubleshooting guides for sync errors, firmware updates or "account verification." They then steer the visitor into typing the 24-word recovery phrase or connecting a wallet. A recovery phrase handed over this way gives the attacker full control of every account derived from it, and the funds can be emptied without the device ever being touched. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare," which is Cloudflare's warning screen. The page content itself was classified as Ledger impersonation.

17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-18, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, CyRadar and alphaMountain.ai. That is broad agreement across independent vendors. Google Safe Browsing lists it under SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, and urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists carry the domain, so wallet-focused defenders reached the same conclusion.
Infrastructure
The operator used a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages rather than registering a domain. This kind of setup costs nothing and can be replaced within minutes. Traffic was served through Cloudflare, Inc. from an address geolocated to Canada. The page lasted eight days between first sighting and going offline, which is a typical lifespan for throwaway lookalike pages.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase, ideally after resetting your Ledger device, and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you connected a software wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase through a website, chat or FAQ page. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar "ledgr" or "live" lookalikes on free hosting subdomains.
