PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

live-ledgr-dsktop-io.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with Cloudflare recorded as the impersonated brand. Its hostname uses a misspelling of a desktop wallet app name, and its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it in crypto-targeting territory. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. It has been offline since 2026-09-17, with its content blocked by the provider as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages like this borrow a trusted name and a plausible-looking address so visitors believe they are on an official download or support page. In crypto-focused impersonation, the usual goal is to get the victim to type a wallet recovery phrase, install a fake app, or approve a wallet connection. Any of these can hand the attacker control of the funds. The current page title, "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", is the hosting provider's warning interstitial rather than the original lure, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Evidence

VirusTotal shows 13 of 89 engines flagging the site as of 2026-09-18, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. Several major vendors reaching the same verdict independently makes this more than a single-source call. urlscan.io rated it malicious and matched generic Cloudflare branding. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which wallet software and crypto security teams rely on directly.

Infrastructure

The project was created on 2026-07-31, about five and a half weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance rather than spun up the day it went live. It ran on Cloudflare Pages behind Cloudflare, Inc. address space, geolocated to Canada, with a certificate from Google Trust Services. Free static hosting with automatic TLS gives a phishing page a padlock and a reputable parent domain at no cost.

What to do

If you typed a recovery phrase or private key here, treat that wallet as compromised. Move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a trusted device. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. If you downloaded anything from the page, uninstall it and scan the machine before using any wallet on it again. Defenders should block the hostname and alert on look-alike pages.dev subdomains that combine wallet names with words like "live" or "desktop".
