PhishDestroy threat report
ledgrstarted-io.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page. Its name is built to look like Ledger's device setup flow, aimed at people unboxing or configuring a Ledger hardware wallet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger setup pages usually walk the visitor through what looks like official onboarding. At some point they ask for the 24-word recovery phrase, often framed as restoring, verifying or syncing the device. Some push a counterfeit companion app or a fake firmware update instead. Anyone who types the recovery phrase into such a page hands over full control of the wallet, and the funds can be swept within minutes. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen rather than the original lure, while our classification refers to the impersonation content that was hosted there.
Three wallet-focused blocklists list the domain: PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL. MetaMask's listing means the wallet itself warns users who try to open the page. Generic antivirus coverage is thin. On 2026-09-18 only 2 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged it, alphaMountain.ai and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, so a clean result from most scanners should not be read as a sign the site was safe.
The site was set up on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-08-21, 18 days before PhishDestroy detected it. It sat on a free pages.dev subdomain served from Cloudflare's network, with the hosting location given as Canada. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services, which is issued automatically on this platform, so the padlock said nothing about who ran the page.
If you entered your recovery phrase here, treat that wallet as permanently compromised. Reset your Ledger, generate a fresh phrase on the device and move any remaining funds to the new accounts right away. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted during the visit. If you downloaded software from the page, uninstall it, scan your machine and use Ledger Live only from Ledger's official source. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on a website. Defenders should block pages.dev subdomains that imitate wallet brands and watch for close variants of this name.
