PhishDestroy threat report
ledgerr-livv.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. It targets Ledger owners looking for help managing their devices. Its doubled letters in "ledgerr" and "livv" are a typo-style imitation of Ledger Live, the brand's companion app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-14, its content was blocked by the hosting provider, and it was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The page posed as "A Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Accounts in Ledger (2025)". That is the kind of routine help article a real Ledger user might search for. Fake guides like this usually walk the visitor toward a step that should never happen, such as typing the 24-word recovery phrase into a web form or installing a counterfeit Ledger Live build. Anyone holding that recovery phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it. The hardware wallet's protection does nothing once the seed has been handed over.
VirusTotal detection was thin. On 2026-09-12, 4 of 89 engines flagged the page: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and LevelBlue. Most scanners missed it, so many browsers and security tools would not have warned visitors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, although its brand matching only picked up generic Cloudflare elements rather than Ledger itself. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which gives wallet users protection that the antivirus engines largely lacked.
The page was a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, served from Cloudflare's network with a Canadian IP location. Its creation date is 2025-09-25, almost a year before PhishDestroy detected it. That suggests it either stayed quiet or went unnoticed for months. Throwaway Pages subdomains cost nothing to create and come with a valid certificate automatically, here issued by Google Trust Services. The padlock in the browser therefore said nothing about whether the site was genuine.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a genuine Ledger with a brand-new phrase and move your funds there immediately. If you downloaded anything from it, uninstall it and get Ledger Live only through Ledger's official channels. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognise. Remember that Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on any website or in any app. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar Ledger-themed Pages subdomains using doubled-letter spellings.
