PhishDestroy threat report
ledgerr-leve.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, and it targets people who keep crypto on a Ledger device. The name misspells the brand with a doubled "r" and appears to echo Ledger Live, the companion app, so a quick glance passes it off as official. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, with Cloudflare blocking its content, and it was still dead at our last check on 2026-10-19.
Ledger impersonation pages usually claim the visitor's device needs a firmware update, a security sync or wallet recovery. They then ask the user to type the 24-word recovery phrase into a web form. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own hardware and empty it, and the theft cannot be reversed. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen. That reflects the provider block rather than the original Ledger-themed content we classified.
On 2026-09-13, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a solid spread of independent vendors for a short-lived free-hosting page. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, both of which focus specifically on crypto threats.
The site ran as a subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service, behind Cloudflare's network with a Canadian geolocation. The subdomain dates to 2025-09-26, roughly eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it, so it sat unnoticed or dormant for a long stretch before being used. Disposable pages.dev projects cost nothing to create and are easy to replace, so a takedown of one name rarely ends the campaign.
If you typed your Ledger recovery phrase into this site, assume the wallet is compromised. Initialize a new device or a fresh seed and move any remaining funds there immediately, starting with the most valuable assets. Never reuse the exposed phrase, and remember that Ledger never asks for your 24 words online or in any app. If you only browsed the page without entering anything, your funds are not at risk from that visit. Security teams should block the domain and watch for typo variants of Ledger and Ledger Live on free hosting platforms.
