PhishDestroy threat report
ledgerr--live--us.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. Its doubled "r" and the "live" and "us" fragments are meant to suggest an official Ledger Live portal for American users. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, Cloudflare has blocked its content, and it was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger Live sites usually present a supposed firmware update, security alert or account sync. The victim is then told to type in the 24-word recovery phrase to restore or verify the device. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own hardware and empty every account it controls, and the theft cannot be reversed. The current page title, "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", is the provider's warning screen rather than Ledger-branded content, while our classification rests on the impersonation itself.
Thirteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-12, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a minority of engines, but the flagging vendors are independent of one another. urlscan.io rated the page malicious, and its brand detection matched the generic Cloudflare warning now in place. Beyond PhishDestroy, MetaMask's phishing list and SEAL also list the domain, so wallet software that uses those feeds should warn users.
The site was hosted as a Cloudflare Pages project and served from Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. The project dates to 2025-10-29, roughly ten months before PhishDestroy flagged it. Free pages.dev subdomains let operators borrow a trusted parent domain and valid HTTPS at no cost. That same setup also let Cloudflare shut the page down directly.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger or reset your device with a freshly generated phrase, then move any remaining funds there right away, before the attacker does. If you only connected a software wallet, revoke any token approvals you granted and watch for unexpected transactions. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on any website or in any app, so treat every such request as theft. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains combining "ledger" and "live" in DNS and proxy logs.
