PhishDestroy threat report
ledger-up-walet.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. It targets people who keep crypto on a Ledger device. The name pairs the brand with "up" and a misspelled "walet" to suggest an official wallet update. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, its content was blocked by the hosting provider, and it was still dead when rechecked on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger pages usually tell visitors that their device or Ledger Live needs an urgent update, sync or security fix. They then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who types that phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and the attacker can empty the wallet from any device without touching the hardware. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on a website. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning interstitial rather than the Ledger-branded content we classified.
VirusTotal shows 13 of 89 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-11. Those engines include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. The count is moderate, but it spans several unrelated vendors rather than one outlier. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, and its brand match of "genericcloudflare" reflects the warning page now served in place of the original content. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask's blocklist and SEAL, both focused on crypto threats.
The site is a project on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service that gives each project a pages.dev subdomain. Anyone can launch one in minutes, so the address carries no registration footprint of its own. The project dates to 2025-10-11, nearly a year before PhishDestroy detected it on 2026-08-31. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare itself took the content down, which is why the page went offline on 2026-09-11.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a Ledger with a brand-new phrase and move any remaining funds to it immediately. Never reuse the old phrase, and only update firmware through Ledger Live itself. If you only browsed and typed nothing, no action is needed beyond avoiding the link. Defenders should block the domain and watch for related pages.dev subdomains that combine Ledger branding with words like update, upgrade or wallet.
