PhishDestroy threat report
learn-us-ledger.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page posing as Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. The subdomain name mimics an official US onboarding or tutorial page, a lure aimed at new and existing device owners. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-01. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger "learn" or setup pages usually walk visitors through a convincing setup or troubleshooting flow, then ask them to type in their 24-word recovery phrase or install a counterfeit Ledger Live app. A genuine Ledger will never ask for that phrase on a website. Anyone who enters it gives the attacker full control of every account the device secures, and the funds can be drained without the physical device. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen rather than Ledger branding, while we classify the underlying site as Ledger impersonation.
On 2026-09-13, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is broad agreement from established security vendors for a page on a shared hosting domain. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. The site also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users and security responders were both warned.
The page runs on Cloudflare Pages under the shared pages.dev domain, served from Cloudflare, Inc. network space in Canada. This free hosting lets operators borrow a reputable parent domain and HTTPS without buying a domain of their own. The project dates to 2025-11-01, roughly ten months before PhishDestroy detected it. Cloudflare took action within about ten days of first detection, which matches the provider_blocked status.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new device or reset it with a fresh phrase, then move all remaining assets there immediately, because a leaked seed cannot be changed or revoked. If you installed software from the page, remove it and scan the machine before touching any wallet again. If you connected a software wallet, also review and revoke token approvals. Defenders should block the hostname, watch for look-alike pages.dev subdomains combining "ledger" with words like "learn" or a region, and report new variants to Cloudflare and wallet blocklist maintainers.
