PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

learn-ledgr-us-eng.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain. Its name, a misspelled "ledgr" with a "learn" and "us-eng" framing, is built to pass as an English-language help or onboarding page for Ledger hardware wallet users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-01. It has been offline since 2026-09-11, Cloudflare has blocked the content, and it was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake onboarding and "learn" pages for hardware wallets usually walk the visitor through a bogus setup, update or verification step. That step ends with a request for the 24-word recovery phrase or a wallet connection. Anyone who holds the recovery phrase controls the wallet, so typing it into such a page lets the operator empty every account behind that device. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen rather than the original lure, while our classification describes the content that was hosted there.

Evidence

On 2026-09-11, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines marked the site as malicious. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a moderate count, but it comes from several unrelated security companies. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, and the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists as well as PhishDestroy's. Both of those are crypto-focused lists, which supports the wallet-targeting reading.

Infrastructure

The operator did not register a domain at all. They used a subdomain of Cloudflare Pages, a free hosting service that lets a lure go live in minutes and inherit a trusted-looking parent name. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. The roughly ten days between PhishDestroy's first sighting and the takedown is typical of throwaway Pages deployments, which scam operators often replace quickly with new subdomains.

What to do

If you entered a Ledger recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new seed on a reset or new device and move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you connected a software wallet, revoke the token approvals it granted with a reputable approval checker. Remember that Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase online. Defenders should block the full subdomain and watch for look-alike pages.dev hosts that use "ledgr" or similar misspellings, and should report new ones to Cloudflare's abuse team.
