PhishDestroy threat report
kbcooperation.com hosted a phishing page titled simply "Netflix" that copied the streaming service's branding to target Netflix subscribers. The domain name has no connection to Netflix, which is typical of throwaway phishing domains. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23. The site went offline on 2026-09-26 and was still dead with inactive DNS when checked on 2026-10-19.
Netflix lures usually arrive as an email or SMS claiming a payment failed or the account is about to be suspended. The link leads to a page like this one, which looks like a Netflix sign-in screen. It collects the victim's email and password, then often asks for card details to "update billing." Victims can lose control of their streaming account, have their card charged fraudulently, and have the same password tried against their email and other services.
17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-23, the same day PhishDestroy listed it. The flagging vendors were alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet, so several major security vendors recognised it independently. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically detected Netflix branding on the page, which matches our impersonation classification. PhishDestroy is the blocklist carrying it.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-08-04, about seven weeks before it was caught. That gap suggests the operators let it age a little before putting the phishing page live. It resolved to 216.198.79.1 on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US. The Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page a padlock, which says nothing about whether a site is legitimate.
If you entered your Netflix login on this page, change your Netflix password right away and use Sign out of all devices in the account settings. Change the password anywhere else you reused it, starting with the email account tied to Netflix, and turn on two-factor authentication where it is offered. If you entered card details, call your bank to cancel the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Watch for follow-up messages pretending to be Netflix or your bank. Defenders should block the domain and IP, search mail logs for messages linking to it around 2026-09-23, and reset credentials for any user who clicked through.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
