How the scam works
Fake AI trading sites like this one usually begin with a sign-up form asking for a name, email address and phone number. A self-styled account manager then calls the victim and pushes for a first deposit. The victim then sees a dashboard with impressive but fabricated gains, which is used to justify larger deposits. When the victim tries to withdraw, new taxes, fees or verification payments appear. Victims lose every deposit, and the personal details they handed over are often reused in follow-up recovery scams.
Evidence
On 2026-10-08, 17 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The flagging vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, DNS8, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. That is a solid spread of independent vendors for a site that had only just surfaced. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, and five AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The site is hosted at 158.94.210.119 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands. A German-language lure served from Dutch infrastructure fits the usual pattern of these campaigns, where the target audience and the hosting location have nothing to do with each other. The Let's Encrypt certificate (YE2) gives the browser padlock but proves nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you registered, do not send any further money, especially "withdrawal fees" or "taxes" demanded to release your balance. Stop answering calls from your so-called account manager. If you already paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank right away to request a chargeback or recall. Report the fraud to the police and to BaFin, and save every chat, email and payment receipt as evidence. Expect follow-up calls from fake recovery services and ignore them. Defenders should block kapterzoratrade.de and 158.94.210.119 at DNS and proxy level, and watch for other domains using the Kapterzora name.
