Overview

kairos-777.com presents itself as "Kairos Wallet" and is an impersonation phishing page aimed at people who use, or are looking for, a crypto wallet under that name. The numeric "-777" suffix is typical of lookalike domains that borrow a brand while avoiding the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

Wallet impersonation pages copy the look of a legitimate wallet so the visitor believes they are on an official setup, restore or support screen. Visitors are usually asked to "import" or "verify" a wallet by typing in a recovery phrase or private key, or to connect an existing wallet and sign a request. A recovery phrase entered on such a page gives the operators full control of the wallet, and they can move every asset out without further interaction. Any transaction or permission signed there can also authorize transfers of the victim's tokens.

Evidence

Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-07: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, PrecisionSec and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many security tools will still let the page load without a warning. The stronger signal comes from crypto-specific blocklists. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, so MetaMask users should see a warning before the page opens.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-10-05, almost a year before PhishDestroy detected it. A long gap like this often means the domain sat unused or was rotated into use later, which helps a new phishing campaign avoid reputation filters. Cloudflare, Inc. handles both the registration and the hosting. The IP geolocates to Canada, but that is a Cloudflare edge address and says nothing about where the origin server or the operators are.

What to do

If you typed a recovery phrase or private key into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you only connected a wallet or signed something, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions granted around the time of your visit, and watch the wallet for unexpected transfers. Never enter a seed phrase on a website, and download wallet software only through the publisher's official channels. Security teams should block kairos-777.com at DNS and proxy level, search logs for earlier visits, and report the domain to Cloudflare's abuse channels so it can be taken down.
