PhishDestroy threat report
join-onlinemeeting.com is a credential phishing page posing as a Zoom sign-in screen. Its domain name is built to look like an ordinary meeting invitation link, aimed at anyone who expects to join a call. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content sitting behind a protection layer.
The page carries the title "Sign In | Zoom" and imitates Zoom's login flow. Victims usually arrive through a message urging them to join a meeting, then see a request to sign in before the call can start. Whatever they type, whether an email address, password or a single sign-on login for a work account, goes straight to the operators. A stolen Zoom or corporate login can open the victim's email, files and contacts, and it can be reused to send the same lure to colleagues.
On 2026-10-03, 13 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. Thirteen detections is modest, so many security tools will still let the page load. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Zoom as the impersonated brand. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-09-18, only five days before it was caught. That short gap fits a site set up for a quick campaign. It runs behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server stays hidden. A Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, which shows only that the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered a password here, change it right away, and change it on any other service where you used the same one. Then sign out of all active sessions. Turn on or reset two-factor authentication, and check your Zoom and email accounts for forwarding rules, new devices or messages you did not send. If you used a work login, tell your IT or security team at once. Defenders should block the domain at email, DNS and proxy layers and search mail logs for meeting invitations pointing to it. Any users who clicked should have their credentials reset.
