PhishDestroy threat report
guides-onfixedfloat.courses is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the name of FixedFloat, an instant cryptocurrency swap service. The "guides" prefix and the .courses ending make it look like a help or tutorial portal. That framing targets people looking for instructions on completing or recovering a swap. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-13. The site has been offline since 2026-10-17 and was still unreachable when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Pages that impersonate a swap service usually walk the visitor through a fake exchange or support flow. The goal is to get the visitor to send coins to an address the attacker controls, or to hand over a wallet's recovery phrase or a connection approval. Instant exchanges are an attractive cover because users expect to paste a deposit address and send funds without creating an account. Anything sent through such a flow goes straight to the operators, and a leaked seed phrase gives them full control of the wallet.
VirusTotal showed 5 of 91 engines flagging the domain on 2026-09-26: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count, so many security products would not have blocked the page. The crypto-specific blocklists matter more here. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users get warned where it counts. The domain also appears in 6 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers tracked it independently.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-17 through Hosting Concepts B.V. (Registrar.eu), 27 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of a purpose-built lure rather than an established site. It resolved to 185.53.179.136 on the Team Internet AG network in Germany.
If you sent crypto to an address shown on this site, treat those funds as lost. Record the transaction hash and report it to the exchange or service you sent from. If you typed in a recovery phrase, create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining assets immediately. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, and watch for other FixedFloat-themed domains with tutorial or support wording.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
